My mission is to use art as a tool to create community impact and open doors for the next generation of Black artists and entrepreneurs. I seek to achieve this by contributing to and creating healing and harmonic spaces; turning houses into homes and elevating interiors by offering high production quality decor and artwork that is made ready to install.

I am Cori Pillows, the founder and business owner of Core Creations. After receiving a Masters Degree in Multimedia at California State East Bay in 2009, I began formulating the necessary sills and experience to start a business selling my artwork in 2014. My background in graphic design and web development has provided a solid foundation for providing high quality graphic services for my clients as well as key skills for expanding my business over the years. My clients have included Ledisi, Gladys Knight, Gina Breedlove, Oakland Mayor, Genentech, East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club, and countless community projects.
The Company Core Creations is a visual art based company generating high-end archival quality reproductions of my original art; depicting historical black portraits, revolutionary ARTivism, and conceptual illustrations of the spirit and beauty reflected in my community.
My visual art can be seen and is sold primarily at farmers markets and festivals across the Bay Area. I also display and sell over 50 artworks on my website thecorecreations.com.
My products in market are GiClee canvas art prints that offer beautiful imagery and provide convenience to the customer by offering archival quality canvas reproductions that are gallery wrapped and are made ready to install. I also have the great pleasure of making art that meets function, expanding the ways in which original artwork can be applied to elevate home decor and accessories.

The medium I use to create the original paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas. I offer these high-quality, hand-made reproductions that are affordable and ready to hang.
